Lesson Prices and Cancellation Policy 2025

Lessons are individual, private lessons and can be held at the beautiful facilities at Natalie’s own yard just outside Billingshurst or Natalie also travels offsite. Natalie is also happy to run clinics onsite or offsite, please see below for more details.

Lessons are available from 12pm onwards Monday to Friday. Weekend availability am/pm.

• 45-minute private dressage lesson - £38.50 — plus 25p per mile travel offsite

• 45-minute private lunging and/or long-reining lesson - £35 - plus 25p per mile travel offsite

  No travel fees for 3 or more riders at one yard within 20 miles of Billingshurst

Cancellation Policy

At Natalie Mendelssohn Dressage, we understand that circumstances can change, necessitating the need to cancel or reschedule appointments. We have established the following cancellation policy:

1. Notice Period: We require at least 24 hours' notice for any cancellations or rescheduling of appointments. This allows us to offer the slot to other clients who may be waiting.

2. Cancellation Fee: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will still require full payment.

3. Weather: Riding is an outdoor sport and lessons will continue in all weathers. Any extreme or dangerous conditions such as very high wind, very heavy rain, ice or extreme heat will be discussed the day before and on the day. Natalie will be in contact if the weather looks like it may affect the lesson, if the decision is made that the weather is too bad to continue then no cancellation fee will be charged.

4. No-Show Policy: Clients who do not attend their scheduled lesson time without prior notification will be charged the full session fee.

5. Exceptions: We recognise that unforeseen events can occur especially with horses. For emergencies or extenuating circumstances, please contact Natalie as soon as possible to discuss your situation.

6. Rescheduling: If you need to reschedule your appointment, we will make every effort to accommodate your request, subject to availability.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a smooth schedule for all our clients.

Unsound, uncomfortable or unhappy horses
Please try to ensure, to the best of your ability and knowledge, that your horse is sound and comfortable before the lesson. Natalie reserves the right to terminate the lesson if she feels that the horse is unlevel or uncomfortable. This of course will be discussed and the lesson may be continued in walk to work on rider position and basics or, if this is not possible, the lesson may be terminated and full payment will still be due.
