Polework Days

Personalised Polework

What Are Polework Days?

Polework days are designed to elevate your dressage training — helping both horse and rider develop correct movement, balance, and awareness.

This is not just riding through poles. Each session is carefully structured to improve key areas such as suppleness, straightness, engagement, collection, accuracy, rhythm, and focus — all with a clear purpose.

Held in a full indoor arena, training continues regardless of bad weather or daylight, allowing for consistent, quality work all year round.

Tailored to You

Every session is completely bespoke. You choose your focus, or Natalie can design a session based on what you and your horse need most.

You might want to:

  • Build confidence in a young or inexperienced horse

  • Improve stretch, relaxation, and connection in walk and trot

  • Develop adjustability within the paces (collected, working, medium)

  • Increase engagement and quality in the canter

  • Refine rhythm and accuracy for jumping or pole courses

Structured, Varied, Effective

A wide range of polework setups are used to keep sessions engaging and progressive, including:

  • Raised poles

  • Curved and straight lines

  • Grid-style exercises

  • Tramlines and accuracy work

  • Full pole courses (with wings if required)

Each exercise is chosen with intention — to support correct biomechanics, improve rider awareness, and create lasting results.
